PitchFest 2002 Update

We closed of Entries last Thursday. 87 completed entries were received and these are now with the Judges. This was about the same number as November 2000 and considering the lower economic Venture Capital activity and our more comprehensive template it was a very good result. Thank you to those that submitted Entries.

The Judges will meet on Monday afternoon (4 November) to pick the 10 semi finalists and we will advise of these. On Monday 11 November the 10 semi-finalists will do a 7 minute presentation to the Judges and 6 will be chosen as finalists to present at the ASX on the 13 November. PowerPoint can be used to assist entrants. We will also have a senior executive from Convince Australia present on the 4 November to give comments on the presentations to the finalists. 

Austrade as part of their sponsorship are providing their in-house ICT and Biotech managers from USA, South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East for special consultation by finalists. These meeting will be held from 11.15 to 12.30 at the NSW Department of State and Regional Development.
